Welcome to the Grand Junction Rural Fire Protection District of Grand Junction, Colorado.

Meetings are the fourth Tuesday of the months we meet.

The Grand Junction Rural Fire Protection District has an opening on its Board.
Applicants must reside within District boundaries. Interested parties should send a resume, including

Public candidate interviews will be conducted.

The Grand Junction Rural Fire Protection District requires the services of a Secretary (as an Independent Contractor). Duties include taking minutes at officials meetings, preparing agendas and minutes and other functions as required. The Secretary would be required to attend a minimum of five evening meetings per year, compensation of $100 per meeting (which includes taking minutes and preparing agendas/minutes), with an hourly rate of $20 per hour for other functions. Knowledge of Colorado Special Districts a plus. Please send resume to:

Meetings are at 6:30 p.m., at Fire Station 5, 2155 Broadway.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend; you do not have to be a resident of the fire district
to attend or participate in our meetings.
